Triple W accessories are painted by GLOMA®, Lda. according to the following procedure:
- The parts are degreased and polished to improve paint adhesion;
- A special two-component primer is applied, which then hardens in an oven at approximately 100 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes;
- Finally, a two-component polyurethane paint is applied, which is cured in an oven at approximately 100 degrees Celsius for approximately 60 minutes.
The paint finish complies with the Catim certificate, which can be found at https://gloma.pt/certificates/. Paint finishes always have a satin finish.
What is paint for?
Besides the aesthetic benefit of ensuring that the equipment matches the base color, or contrasts with the desired finish, paint also has the advantage of protecting the equipment from the corrosive and oxidative effects of seawater.
Many Triple W dates are made of stainless steel and are IP55 certified, providing high resistance to dust and water jets.
However, protection against salt spray can only be achieved with a protective lacquer coating, using a special paint layer.
An alternative to painting is to permanently coat the surfaces with petroleum jelly or another type of grease.
Triplo W does not install equipment.
We analyse the need through photos, drawings and written description, we design the most appropriate solution for each case and we quote the supply.
The installer technician is hired by our client and we give the necessary instructions for a good installation.
The equipment is supplied with detailed installation plans, videos, animations and wiring diagrams.
The installation of this lock must be carried out by the manufacturer carpenter or locksmith, depending on the construction material of the door.
Installation precautions
1. Be especially careful not to cut wires during the connection between the two parts of the lock
2. Ensure that the rubber seals are properly fitted and snug against the door. If necessary , glue the sealant with soft glue.
3. Insulate the key entry cover to prevent saltpetre from entering with a grease.
4. After assembly, clean the whole lock with a cloth wet with liquid soap, to avoid oxidation

This lock is not waterproof.
It requires special cleaning care and maintenance when installed in marine environments subject to salt fog.
It is advisable to protect all metal elements installed near the sea or chemical environments, with sewing machine oil or liquid petroleum jelly.
CLEANING RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is essential to follow these guidelines to ensure the
durability, proper functioning and longevity of the equipment.

Initial Cleaning: Always with a cloth
Smooth and dry before installation.

Touchscreen Protective Films: A
Protective film of the display may display
Risks due to handling during transport, in this case you must remove the
film after installation;

Periodic Cleaning: Minimum every 3
months, adapting the frequency to the environment (outdoor, dust,
sands, saltpetre, etc.).

Built-in Mechanical Locks
on the doors: Periodic lubrication with liquid fat.

Electronic Locks: Cleaning and
Periodic external lubrication with liquid fat (e.g. oil
sewing machine).

WARNING: Avoid products of
cleaning corrosives such as WD40 as they can damage
electrical circuits and painting.
